Question 1

What is an SOP?

Accepted Answer

A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is a documented set of step-by-step instructions that describes how to carry out a routine task so it's done consistently every time. SOPs cover purpose, responsibilities, procedures, and safety.

Question 2

How does AI generate SOPs?

Accepted Answer

Upload screenshots, a screen recording, or written notes of a process. SOP-ify's AI analyzes the workflow and structures it into a complete SOP with purpose, steps, and safety sections in under a minute.

Question 3

Can I edit my SOP?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After generation you can edit every section, update the version, change its status (draft, published, archived), and organize SOPs before exporting.

Question 4

Can I export to PDF?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Export to PDF, DOCX, or HTML in one click. You can also bundle multiple SOPs into a single ZIP download.

Question 5

Do I need screenshots?

Accepted Answer

No. You can also describe the process in text or paste existing notes. Screenshots and videos just give the AI more context for more accurate steps.
